Race Results – Ranking race #3, Ballymore Eustace to Kilcullen

Sunday 26th saw the 3rd ranking race of the season take place on the River Liffey from Ballymore Eustace to Kilcullen. With the river in flood the race took place over one of the most enjoyable race courses of the year. With plenty of flow lots of trees and windy river it made for a challenging course where a small lapse in concentration could seen a paddler end up running too close to a tree or catching an eddy line and spinning out or capsizing. Thanks to all at Kilcullen Canoe club for the hospitality and another very well run race. Full race results below.
