Race Notice – Ranking race #4, 56th Annual Carrick on Shannon Marathon

Sat 8th June see the 56th, yes you read that correctly, 56th Annual Carrick on Shannon Marathon. This legendary race is the longest running race on the ranking calendar & the course has hosted World Cup Marathon events in the 1980’s. As always there is the chance to earn valuable individual points & club points towards the Ribadesella series. This race is also the 3rd race of our 2019 Waterways Ireland series. This is a flat water course with no weirs or rapids to be shot. 4 courses available ranging from just over 5km all the way up to 26km. See the race notice below for full details.

As always there is a division to suit every boat type so all are welcome & for any paddler who is new to racing in 2019, their 1st 2 races of the season are only €10 each to enter.
