Ranking Race #3 Ballymore Eustace to Kilcullen this Sunday 26th May

The flood has been confirmed, the sun has been shining & we are starting to hit our stride in the racing season. This Sunday sees the 3rd race of the ranking season take place. Hosted by Kilcullen Canoe Club the course for Div1 – 6 runs from Ballymore Eustace to Kilcullen along the river liffey as it winds it way through the countryside. The U15 Div 7 has a 5K course starting at Carnalway. This race consist of flowing water on a winding section of river. As a result there is no novice race & any lesser experienced paddlers should carefully consider their boat choice and perhaps choose something more stable and maneuverable than they would normally use on a flatwater race.

A reminder that in an effort to encourage people to try marathon racing this year any senior paddlers who have not raced before get a reduced entry fee of €10 for each of their first 2 races of the year,
