Well it’s time for the first ranking race of the season. The Barrow ranking race will take place this coming Sunday April 3rd.
Long course: Monasterevin to the ARC clubhouse at Athy, (21Km).
Medium Course: Dunrally bridge to Athy, Dunrally bridge is on the Vicarstown road R247 (race distance 10 Km).
Short Course: Two short laps of a course DOWNSTREAM from ARC to The Horse Bridge (2nd bridge), Turning at ARC before repeating second lap (4Km).
Long Course : Div 1 & 2
Medium Course : Div 3, Div 4, Div 5 Open, Div 5 Women, Div 6, Open C1/C2, Open K2/T2
Short Course : Division 7 women, Division 7 (Junior – under 15)
Please enter on-line in advance.
No Novice Race. Novices should enter Div 7 and be capable of completing 4 Km.
Present CI/CANI/BCU membership card at Entry.
Neither the organisers nor the Canoeing Ireland accept responsibility for any damage or loss.
Helmets must be worn by all junior paddlers and where kayaks have enclosed cockpits (e.g. Gola etc).
In Division 5 there will be prizes for Senior, Junior and first woman Open Singles.
