2020 K1 National Championships. 8th August, Cork

The rescheduled 2020 K1 National Championships will take place on Sat 8th August at Dripsy Channel, Cork. This venue has become a staple of the last 2 seasons and for the vast majority that attended the races, it is considered the best Marathon racing venue on the calendar. This is a fantastic race venue not just for paddlers but also spectators who can see about 70% of the lapped race course from the start/finish venue, including a lovey grass portage with beach style exit and entry.

Full details and race notices will follow but this is one to mark in your calendar with both National Championship classes & non championship classes providing a race for everyone.

• Senior Women’s K1
• O39 Masters K1
• O49 Masters K1
• U18 Boys K1
• U18 Girl’s K1
• U16 Boys K1
• U15 Girls K1
• U14 Boys K1
• Open Canoe

Non Championship classes

• Open B – 8km Guideline. Open to paddleers Div 3 – 5
• Open C – 4km Open to paddlers Div 6-7, Newcomers etc
