2019 Junior 5K series kicks off this weekend

The Annual Junior 5K Series run by Jon Simmons kicks off this coming weekend. The series comprises of 4 races over a 5 weeks period & gives all the juniors a great opportunity to showcase all their hard work over the winter months.

 Racing starts this Saturday.

Check in will be open from 10am, racing starting 11am at Salmon Leap Canoe Club, Leixlip.

Entry is €6 per race or €20 for the series.

All money goes back into goodies for the podium finishers in each age category.

A 2.5k course will also be available for newer paddlers who feel they are not ready for the full 5K

The dates for all the races in the series are:

• Saturday 16th February Salmon Leap CC
• Saturday 23rd February Celbridge Paddlers 
• Saturday 9th March Celbridge Paddlers 
• Saturday 16th March Salmon Leap CC
