National Team 2021 – Declaration of Interest

National Team Selection 2021

All paddlers wishing to be considered for selection for the coming season should contact marathonchair@canoe.ie no later than 28/02/21 indicating which events and class they wish to compete in. Minimum standards will apply as in recent years.

The minimum standard times over 5k are:

Senior / U23 Men: 23:00

Senior/U23 Women: 26:00

Junior Men: 24:00

Junior Women: 28:30

These times must be achieved by the time of a selection race but do not need to be achieved by 28/02/21

Arrangements for selection events will be made as required and posted shortly after the closing date. All arrangements will be provisional subject to Covid  conditions and restrictions prevailing at that time.

The current International racing calendar looks as below but may vary depending on the COVID Pandemic situation Internationally nearer the time of the event.

European Championships: Moscow, Russia. 7/7 -> 11/7

World Championships: Pitesti, Romania. 30/9 -> 3/10

World Cup: Shaoxing, China. 28/10 -> 31/10
