Slaney Descent Results

The 15th March saw the Marathon season kick off with the non-ranking K2 race, The Slaney Descent. The river was full & the vibe was great with plenty of paddlers delighted to be out racing again. The course set of from Bunclody down 24km to Enniscorthy. Plenty of flow & features kept paddlers on their toes with 1 or 2 taking a dip along the way. Well done to everyone who raced & thank you to Bill Milne & the Milne family for running the event & to Bunclody Paddlesports hub for providing rescue on the day.
