World Marathon Championships

Well done and congratulations to the Masters Irish team, Peter Egan, Declan Halton, David Horkan, Breda Keating and Mick Keating who have recently competed in Gyor, Hungary. Breda won K2 gold in the Women’s K2 category, congratulations Breda.🥇

Best of luck to our Junior and Senior team of paddlers representing Ireland at the World Canoe Marathon Championships in Gyor, Hungary this week.

The action kicks off with the short course races. Sean Butterly & Sean Smyth race in the Junior Men’s race while Lucy Cullen & Emily Roche race in the Junior Women’s race.

This is followed by a busy few days of racing in the long course races with the below list of Irish racers.
