Best of luck to the 8 strong team of paddlers representing Ireland at the European Canoe Marathon Championships in Ponte De Lima, Portugal over the next week.

The action kicks off on Thursday where in the short course races Sean Butterly & Sean Smyth race in the Junior Men’s race while Lucy Cullen & Sadb Shannon race in the Junior Women’s race.

This is followed by a busy few days of racing in the long course races with the below list of Irish racers

The weeks racing in Portugal kicks off with the Masters European Championships with K1 racing on Monday & K2 on Tuesday. Ireland has plenty of representation in these races with the below list of paddlers racing.
