Kevin ‘Spud’ Murphy Festival of Racing – Results

The Kevin ‘Spud’ Murphy Festival of Racing took place on Sunday 18th May at Salmon Leap Canoe Club. This was a great day with lots of fun, fantastic racing and wonderful weather. The day started with the Short Course Nationals, with a few thrills and spills, followed by the main event, the Kevin ‘Spud’ Murphy Cup. This race is a mixed K2 crew and was won this year by Sean Butterly and Emily Roche. Next came the Mixed Ability race, more fun and mayhem with a start line consisting of more than 30 K2 crews, a sight to behold. This was a great day for all, paddlers and spectators. Thanks to everyone involved for a wonderful day.
